Silverstone are delighted to be hosting the 2011 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX and are looking forward to running the event from the new iconic International Pit and Paddock facility. Few sporting occasions match the intensity, glamour and drama of the FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX and whether a wide eyed first timer or seasoned veteran the experience is breathtaking.
Nothing beats the atmosphere at Silverstone when a British driver takes to the circuit. In 2011 both Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will be aiming to impress the loyal British fans at their home race and hoping to mount the steps of the Silverstone podium.
Featured Grandstands
Vale
Offering a great view of the pit lane entrance, this elevated grandstand also allows you to enjoy extended views from Hangar Straight, Stowe Corner, through to Vale and Club Corner
Club
Club is going to offer some amazing views for the spectator. For 2011 the covered grandstand will be elevated so that you will see the cars come round Stowe Corner, speed down Vale into Club Corner and disappear down the NEW International Pits Straight. Not only that, you will also have fantastic views into the pit lane and pit entrance.
Club A
Club A offers views of the drivers speeding down Vale and entering the slow left, right chicane before taking off up International Pits Straight
Woodcote A
A platinum covered grandstand, Woodcote A offers spectacular views of the cars as they race towards you down Wellington Straight before braking into Brooklands and onward into Luffield Complex, Woodcote Corner and the high speed National Pits Straight.
